Rotating Dumbbells

Here, I am showing a test run of a rotating dumbbell that was simulated with Perfectly Matched Boundary Layer boundaries. In the top panels, I am showing the Higgs field magnitude contours in the xz plane, with the magnitude visualized as height in the right panel. In the bottom panel, I am showing the histogram of all Higgs magnitude in the simulation box. The numerical relativity technique is described in [arXiv:2311.00026]

Further details about parameters and initial relativistic conditions are coming with a public release of the simulation code on my Github page (link is available at the buttom of the page).

Stay tuned!

Same as the first video(Value 1), but with a larger value of angular momentum. Formation of a single spahleron-like configuration can be seen as a bright spot in the upper left panel and a peak in the upper right panel.

Same as the first (Value 1) and second videos (Value 2), but with a larger value of angular momentum than both. Multiple stable peaks are observed here.
